On the Home Screen select the "Address Book" icon and press on the track wheel. Start typing the name you are looking for (Surname first). To minimize the result list, type whole name if available. Press on the track wheel, select “lookup” from the menu and press again.
Press track wheel, select "View Lookup", press again, browse through the result list and choose “View” for the contact you want to use.

On the desktop Software open "Reconciliation Options" (Antenna Symbol). On the bottom of the first tab you can enter the signature used by the BlackBerry, Connect the BlackBerry to your desktop and synchronize

| Can I use Twin-Cards with the BlackBerry? |

The BlackBerry is intended to be a one-device-solution for Mobile Phone, E-Mail, Calendar and Address Book usage. The use of Twin-Cards is possible but e-mail reconciliation only works, when the device is connected to the network.

| My mailbox does not synchronize with the BlackBerry device? Why? |

The synchronization of message statuses can take some time. Especially marking as unread, deletions and updates to messages are not transmitted immediately. Please be patient.
Select "Messages" from the Home Screen press on the track wheel again, scroll down and select "Options". "Delete On" has to be set to "Mailbox and Handheld". If the device does still not synchronize after several hours then please refer to the section:
"Wireless e-mail service is not working, what is the reason?"

Turn the device off or remove the battery.

If you see a checkmark, the e-mail was sent successfully to the Exchange Server. If you see a (red) cross, the e-mail could not be delivered, if you see a clock sign the BlackBerry device waits for connection to the server.

Checklist for possible reasons:
If not done already, connect the BlackBerry to your desktop with the desktop software installed and opened. If the device is newly configured, it will take some time. When the service is started, it takes up to 30 minutes until all components are working together.
